Great news.
Still - I wish I was able to recreate the initial problem. Oh well, c'est la vie.

It's also not showing quantities for articles, tips, and other things.

Well we know who the top 3 are (CG, me, and you), and then I think there's Chris, Sacha, Pete. Although with my relative inactivity I will probably fall down to #4 or 5 by the end of this year.

I checked 5 minutes ago and it said 28.3K. Okay, fine. I just checked and it now says 28.1K, but I only got 1 (-16) in the last 5 minutes. What gives? I know I'm missing something here.

Mind the language, sir.
Remember that crazy upvoting that was out of control? That has been fixed. Fixed, as in what a vet does.

I just popped over to check if anything had been said because I was suspicious that you'd done something; I went from 80.5 to 79.9. I hope you've washed the scissors.
Guess I'll have to do something sensible to get to 80K now.

And it's happening again. It's a highly rated user, too. I'm getting 24 points every time they vote 5.

When I'm entering a post in a forum (like I'm doing right now) there are a number of thingies above the textbox that paste good stuff into the post. The one that says link[^] omits the ^ , which means I've got to navigate to the spot and type it in myself (or wind up with a unclickable 'new window' link). Being a lazy sod , I'd like the caret to appear as magically as the rest.
IIRC, there's somewhere else on CP where the same thingy works right.

http://www.codeproject.com/Members/OriginalGriff[^] It does for me (Chrome 12.0.742.122) - but only when I highlight an address and click link[^]

OK, now I think I get it. I have been clicking the thingy then filling in the blanks - obviously doing things the hard way. FF3, 4, 5 and Chrome ?5 - 12 all behave the same.
Thanks, guys.

Does Chrome not support autolinkify when pasting? FF's done so for a while. Just paste the URL and then optionally type over the (auto selected) text.

Yes, it does - it also supports it (rather nicely) if you highlight a text phrase and paste a link onto it. Auto link with [^] and the highlighted text as the user prompt.

FF does that too, I didn't want to confuse peter with too many options though.

Congratulations! You (plural) have confused me. AFAIK, the effect I noticed is the behaviour of CP's JavaScript in the reply form, not that of the underlying browser. Start a reply and look at the page source, from about line 380 for the next 700-odd lines.

By does Browser X support Y, I meant "Do CP's browser specific scripts for Browser X support feature Y". Generally it's the case that IE and Opera don't get all the shiney new javascript features; the former because it's historically been a giant turd, the latter because it doesn't have enough of a user base for Maunder to feel like spending any time twiddling if the FF/Chrome version doesn't work perfectly out of the box.
