Clicking on "The Lounge" link on the green title bar, returns an address of http://lounge.aspx/ and means that the lounge is unreachable via that link.

We all saw this issue this afternoon but then were not able to see it again. At the very bottom of each page you'll see the server name (eg. Web1). If it happens again can you please let me know which server it's happening on?

Dunno what happened where and when. I have a FF7.0.1 bookmark to the lounge which I have used for years. This morning (EAST, GMT+11) it tried to go to "http://lounge.aspx" many times until I gave up in disgust. (Looked like a redirect was happening, but I didn't do any tracing.) Thought it might have been my FF corrupted, so I fired up Chrome15, and got straight in through a history dropdown (autocomplete) link. By the time I'd set up a FF bookmark to CP front page, then linked to Lounge and saved a bookmark to that, it was all working again.
So, on reflection, smells like a feral redirect.

It's happening to me as well. I am just getting www.lounge.aspx. Firefox 7.0, Windows 7. If I manually type in www.codeproject.com\lounge.aspx then I get to the lounge. All other CP addresses work fine. Cannot tell which server the redirect is on as I just get a Problem loading page error. I am connected to Web23 right now. No Lounge

Yes, same thing happened to me. But not only lounge also other forums like SBS & GIT. It redirected to forums.com dummy site.
Looks like now fine.

No, it is still happening. I cannot access the lounge with the menu at the left, nor the top menu, nor with my shortcut in Firefox.

At the bottom left of the page you will see "webX". Can you please let me know which server is playing up?
I've been checking each server individually nd they are all fine for me, but I'm suspecting it's a transient issue that comes and goes. Also, please do a Ctrl+F5 to ensure that the problem you see isn't simply due to a cached page.

I can get to all other pages on CP and am currently on Web04. It is just the lounge. I have to manually type the address into the addressbar. If I try use any of the menus, I am redirected to www.lounge.aspx, and FF says it cannot find server. It was also happening with my lounge shortcut on FF, but I have since manually reset the address for that shortcut and it is now working. Obviously, trying ctrl F5 on www.lounge.aspx just gives me the same server not found error. Once I am in the lounge ctrl F5 refreshes as expected, but I still am unable to use the menu to get back to the lounge from anywhere else on the site. I do not have any other browsers installed, so cannot do any other testing (Bloody desktop developers!).

Yes. New option Duplicate/Repost. For this option give us an input box to enter existing Tip/Trick URL. Then a notification for OP about this, that's all.
Example.
Just now I have noticed that one of our member mistakenly posted the duplicate of his own Tip/Trick.
See this message Clickety[^] at this Tip/Trick[^].

It's a good idea. In the meantime I have taken care of the example you found. Thank you kindly!

I'll add the extra option, but the input box is an idea I've been working on for a while and finally managed to get it done this afternoon. Next release.

Could this option be added to the paste type popup?
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Indeed, for what is a quote but a remembrance of the past.
Seriously, though, good idea.

The country was correctly identified as India but the location based service (or something like that) remained USA.
Is it a deliberate thing or a bug? If it isn't a bug then what is the purpose of that service and why would an Indian want USA related stuff?

your profile page has you listed as the president of India. Is this true?

Your timezone was probably preset correctly (we ask your browser "what time is it?" and go from there) but your country was set using an IP-to-location lookup, which are never 100% accurate. Feel free to correct our geographically challenged system.
