Yeah, it's not optimal, but I'm revamping QA soonish and that issue will...disappear.

I am sorry to bring this but I just noticed,
- Go to codeproject homepage
- Under the Latest Best Picks, please click on the How does it work in C#? - Part 3 (C# Linq in detail)and it will take you to the article. In the article author is myself.
- Please see the very first sentence of the article "You have a new working version. Would you like to view or edit this new version?". From this sentence if you click on the view then it will take you to http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/ArticleVersion.aspx?waid=14915&aid=383749[^], now if you look into the author it will be Jovan Popovic.
I am just wondering how does it possibly could happen. I just need someone's help.
And Finally, I notice now, the article is no longer belongs to me, it belongs to Jovan Popovic. And I lost all my points related to this article and etc....
?

I've fixed the author on the article. The HOW will need some digging into, but the initial evidence suggests that I am responsible

Thanks Sean. I am happy it is fixed now but I have lost at least 500-600 points
Just wondering, Is there anyway I can get back those. Thanks for your help Sean

Hmm. I can see all the points for that article living inside your reputation. The total should be updated almost immediately.
Thanks,

Votes for a couple of posts do not seem to be showing up in the rep history - are they also not being added to the total score?

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpfull answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

I have officially confirmed this to be a problem. I guess.

Hi:
I am coauthor the arthice: http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/97590/A-Framework-in-C-for-Fingerprint-Verification.
When the main author (Miguel Angel Medina Pérez) updated the article, the system automatically set my name as the first author when I am not. The correct order according to user IDs is the following: 7071888,3597239,7171896,7313324. How can we change the order of the authors?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Octavio

Hi Octavio,
Unfortunately we were unable to set this right. For this case we're going to propose having a feature to allow members to change the order of authors as they see fit. But currently in this case they seem to force themselves into numerical order.
Thanks,
Sean Ewington

When the cat's away, the mice SHOULD play.
I'm in Virginia if that helps. Actually, I wanted to vote a 5 to Ra-one's Special Family joke in The Soapbox. I even tried a few more links there, but they all just took me back up to the top of the message that I was trying to vote on.
