Problem: I have already submitted, so why would I want to submit again, to see the results?

Codeproject "Normal" surveys have a "results" button.

I resubmitted too and then I realized the reputation page had it. But yes, a results button is needed.

Ah! The recent rep points page! Yes, that tells me I voted in the poll, but I knew that anyway. I wanted to see what silly comments had been made...with a "normal" poll it is obvious that you have voted because you get a "results" button, rather than having to guess that you won't vote again by submitting.

I agree the results button is missing, but this is a workaround for people who voted and wish to see the comments.

Notifications not sent from article comments

Looks like the new (excellent) notification system is ignoring the comments to articles sometimes. A person posted a question and I was notified but a similar notification didn't show up from a general comment.

Do some message types get ignored?

Thanks for reporting. We do not ignore any message types on purpose. But of course, there can be bugs.
I am happy to dig in and fix the issue. Do you know the type of message on which you didn't got
the notification? This way it will be easier for me to nail down the problem.

Hi Elina,

If I recall corretly, I got a notification from this: Encrypting a dataset using AES[^]

But this one Encrypting a dataset using AES[^] was unnotified.

Hopefully those help to pinpoint the possible problem. Smile | :)

I tried to delete an article and this is the message that I saw: "The article "..." was successfully deleted." But I can still see it and all its contents. I want to remove it completely. Is it possible?
If it is not possible, I think it should be....

Yes, it is written "deleted" but all the contents are visible to me? Is it visible to you too? There should be a way to remove it completely.

Articles aren't fully deleted, partly because you may want to resurrect it in the future, so you can still see its contents. It's visible to me because of certain rights I have on the site - there's a reason I have a funny icon next to my name.

But I am sure I will not resurrect it. Mybe you have rights to do that? If so, can you remove it completely for me.
(And this is a humble suggestion, we should have rights to remove our own articles.)

Additionally if you don't like that funny icon, you can give it to me with the rights it provides to you Big Grin | :-D
