I am answered a question. But when I found There are mistake. I want to edit it. But I bring to New question. When I press back button on browser. It is suddenly deleted! Help Me to undelete

The question you answered was deleted, meaning all answers (since they belong to the question) get marked as deleted too.

But, I don't have an ability do delete other post! My points is still 410. The question I answer is "Manipulating drag and drop image in windows form C#".

Somebody closing or deleting a question doesn't affect your points, if you got points for answering it then you will not lose the points when it is deleted (more accurately called closed). It will also still show up in your profile as answered and still have the links, but when you click it then it says its been closed or deleted.

It really puts people of from submitting answers at all. Nobody wants to have their answer downvoted, and I'm not sure that the original posters know that 3 is downvoting as well.
What about 4 stars? is that considered downvoting as well (haven't had the opportunity to check)?

There are some 10 million members here, some of whom spend their time adding downvotes or neutrals to questions, answers etc., for no discernible reason. As long as we have a voting system this will happen. Ask yourself the question: what is the net effect on you of downvotes?

It's not that - it's the principle. It's just that I reckon 3 is neutral (the CP used to do so as well in the "old" days"). And I THINK that most OP's do the same...
I was just wondering the reason that it has suddenly become negative?!?!?

I can't speak for Richard but the thread sounds to me like he might have misinterpreted your posting to be just another tired rant about the voting system Or, he might have been simply trying to explain that the voting system itself is much used and abused and it really does not matter anyway so a "3" vote is irrelevant to anything.
In either case, I think that everyone should just take off for the weekend and try enjoy some time away from the drudgery

OK, I'm a bit wider awake today and see where I went wrong; my apologies.
I think it is all to do with the weighting of votes, and a 3 vote does not always come out as neutral depending on the reputation level of the voter.

I get you. I was surprised at this too. I would expect a 3 to be neutral, neither adding to or taking away, but I have received negative points for a 3 vote also.

Does it not depend on the weight of the users? i.e. if you have a 5-vote from a newbie and then a PoH or OG comes along and votes you 3, this actually gives you an overall of 2.25 or something, so is in effect a down-vote?

No:
- 1 or 2 stars: downvoting
- 3 stars: considered downvoting, but perhaps it's a better idea to consider it as a neutral vote
- 4 or 5 stars: upvoting
