I don't use auto-correct, but the predictive typing on WP8 works very well. I have English, Spanish and Danish language support installed and when you have the keyboard up, it is a simple button click to switch between languages.

You know you're addicted to CP when you even use your phone to access it. Time to unplug.
There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

You are correct, but on some weekends it is the only way for me to go online.

Can you please try now?
[Edit: Just grabbed a Surface for testing and found an issue. Works much better on an iPad and Galazy. Just a final issue with the Surface that's been fixed and is waiting for the next deploy]

I see the difference in the Moderation Queue popup - it is a better pop up effect, but I still have to do my usual trickery to actually be able to select a menu item (let me see if I can find where I was whining about that...here we go[^]).
When I tried it out in the QA area, I did not notice much of a change - it is still difficult to figure out where the icons are when you can't see them. Also, when I did manage to pop up the "flag menu", part of it seemed to be initially behind the side panel on right, but it sort of came fully into view as I moved my finger around.
[EDIT]
In the QA area, instead of completely hiding the controls, could they be faded just like the controls for the Comments?

FYI, I have noticed that the red flag and nearby controls on QA posts are no longer hidden when I am using my phone - thank you.
I still think it feels a little awkward in a regular desktop browser. After reporting a post and the popup menu goes away, the controls are hidden again and you have to move the mouse back up in the area to see the report text.
I would prefer if the controls were simply faded the same way they are on Comments. Just my 2 cents.

Is anyone else also getting a mostly blank Weird and Wonderful page? I see the banners at the top and bottom of the page, links at the side and the forum description at the top, but no forum content. See screenshot[^]
What is this talk of release? I do not release software. My software escapes leaving a bloody trail of designers and quality assurance people in its wake.

Yes, the content is missing. Didn't find it in the html source code of the page either (i.e. it does not hide in misplaced iframe or with white characters on white ground ).

Looks like it's fixed now.

Looks like the page lost the Forum. Working now.

It was just fine yesterday before the (awful) yellow highlighting of one's own comments appeared today.
Clicking edit on a comment opens an empty textarea. Anything typed in there replaces the original comment (as it should) - someone has forgotten to populate the textarea with the original contents of the comment.

Hit Ctrl+F5 and try again please.
Should be fixed now.

You sir, have an impressive record for squashing issues with haste.
If buying CP merchandise is the closest I can get to a donation, I'll fire off an order shortly.
A donation would be preferable, since it's a 100% gain to CP, but either would work just fine for me.

I appreciate the thought but we make no money off merchandise - I sell that at cost.
Writing an article, answer someones questions, or signing up for a Premium account through Workspaces[^] are all great ways of passing on the Karma.

Blatant fatism in action. Other people can have their accounts enabled, but not me, whose account got deleted for pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of a particular person, who could dish out abuse, but complained when she received it.
Nice to know standards can be applied so unequally.

You do understand that the world doesn't revolve around you, right? And I'm assuming you do also understand that there's a chance - a small chance - that something might have come up such as meetings, actual bug fixes, or maybe we're having network issues that I need to diagnose - that may have prevented me from springing into action to reinstate your account at the instant you want it?
How about: "Hey Chris - and progress on this?".

Ah. but I have it on good authority you said 'not a chance' last time the question was asked.
I dont get why though. If you can enable someone elsea account why not mine? It got deleted for the wrong reasons, it wasnt trolling, it wasnt abusive, it merely pointed out some uncomfortable facts, and a few people didnt like that.
The reason I want it back is because the email address is the one I use all the time, and having some other junk hotmail account used for CP means I dont get notification when I get a reply, so I end up missing a lot of interersting conversation.
