It seems that you get 100 points for posting a article; see the Member Reputation System[^].
Not sure if it is possible to implement; but would be better if the points are awarded after it has been approved.

I thought you did only get the points when it was approved - at least it always seemed that way with my ones. You certainly shouldn't get points automatically on submission - that way lies a quick exploit to Platinum Author and spam self approval!

I checked my rep points, and you right the 100 is only after first approval - not on submission...
I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. (V)

I figured it would be, otherwise you could post a partial article, delete it, and post it again.
100 repeats, and you're platinum and don't need moderation any more... An hour, if you sit down and concentrate...

It is, see below.
I will never again mention that Dalek Dave was the poster of the One Millionth Lounge Post, nor that it was complete drivel.

Everyone does errors. OG was right, it was a Bug. Not in The code, but in The staff.

I think you need to look up the definition of wetware. We've just had a very disturbing glimpse into your reality.

My reality is that I just heard a bald-headed PM say "I can do that as well". After a girl from his team was adjusting her hair to a somewhat... special kind of hair style - Mind you, that dude hasn't a beard
In addition, I automatically assumed that it got a bit creepy since Sean is involved.

OFFICIAL: Are there any women here today?
CROWD: No. No. No. No...
OFFICIAL: Very well. By virtue of the authority vested in me--
CULPRIT WOMAN stones MATTHIAS
MATTHIAS: Oww! Lay off! We haven't started yet!
OFFICIAL: Come on! Who threw that? Who threw that stone? Come on.
CROWD: She did! She did! He did! He! He. He. Him. Him. Him. Him. He did.
CULPRIT WOMAN: Sorry. I thought we'd started.
OFFICIAL: Go to the back.
CULPRIT WOMAN: Oh, dear.

I just finished an little Tip on how controls can be customized with Qt-QML, something I needed to do for the GUI study of the ::Tasks app (If it interests you, have a glance: Apply a custom default style on QML controls[^]) - It then came to my mind that we don't have a section for Qt Technology related articles (See also my post below about the additional tags), and that it would be great to have a subsection "Qt" under "Cross-plattform". I'd be happy to update the section of the Qt stuff I have published so far and help to fill this new category a bit.
I also did a little search, and from my POV there is a lot of interesting Qt stuff around which can't be found easily yet, since most of it is hidden within different categories.

Can we have the following additional tags regarding Qt development:
- QML
- Qt {small 't', because QT means QuickTime}
- Qt C++

Not exactly a bug, but you might to want to consider and it's annoying to see such crappy content on home page.
So, I opened the home page and wanted to look at Latest News, Discussions etc.
And what I see is this.
Latest Discussions[^]
However when I clicked on the links, it appeared that they were deleted from the CodeProject but Home Page still was showing them.
Btw, shouldn't there be some kind of smart filter which decides what goes to home page.
