Great to hear that, the hardest part is done

If you are using VS 2012 or later, there is an article by Chris: An Introduction to Workspaces::Git for Windows users[^]
If you don't have VS 2012, have a look at the GUI clients recommended by Git themselves:

I will never again mention that Dalek Dave was the poster of the One Millionth Lounge Post, nor that it was complete drivel.

I changed my email address for Code Project and am getting the message that my email needs to be confirmed. But I've gotten no email.
Meanwhile, I'm missing out on the newsletters and other mailings.

I've resent the confirmation email.

Hi,
I've recently published this article but it has not added anything to my points. I mean that 100 point for article is not added.

Hi,
One month ago I published an article about an open-source library I made.
For the first 2 weeks ratings swinged wildly but I got around 5000 views and around 150 downloads but then all traffic suddenly dropped from 500 views per day to 25 on average!
This doesn't look normal.
Any ideas?
Please don't tell me it sucks, I'm pretty sure it doesn't 8-

It is normal that you lose traffic after some days, because after some days, the article doesn't appear anymore on the homepage or on the first page of the "Latest Updates" section on the site. This means that you lose some traffic. And if some people share your article on social media, then it also won't be very visible anymore after some days. So, it's very normal that you lose some traffic after some days.

Ok, thanks.
It's just such a surprising drop...

The profile popup is always above the message.
While browsing through the lounge, when the any of the messages is at the top then on mouseover at the name of the sender displays the popup above the line.
My suggestion is to make it check for the boundary of the page so that if it is at the top, then display the popup below.
Thanks.

We enjoyed the possibility to include links in comments (<a href="..."> ...) until recent time, maybe even yesterday. (It's a good thing: referencing rules for asking questions and a lot more uses.) At this moment, posting of the question converts it to escaped HTML code. I did not try other HTML markup...
Is it intended or will be fixed?
Thank you.

Yes, the comment box is not respecting HTML codes, not only links. I was just going to post a Bug.

|

Well, it is respecting it by escaping, otherwise it would show the markup.
Thank you.

I was about to report it. I have tried to edit the comment to re-write the "<" and other key symbols, but it brought nothing

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

After my IE8 browser prompts with a security bar and I allow download, another message (red-ex) says that "download.aspx" can't be found on this server. This new "workspace" thing also has two flavors. One shows a "click here" the other no such work-around.
I find if there's no "click here" alternative, there's no possibility of accessing any code, download or otherwise ...

I rated my article 5 and gave myself 40 points. Is this by design or is this a bug?
