I'd suggest to do nothing. The CP society will do the job. The spammer will gets what he deserves (down-votes and spamm reports).

That results in the same behavior. The member that adds the 3rd report is shown as having updated the post.
I wish they would change this because it brings the post back up to the top, which is really annoying.

Dear friends,
I had created an account long back and have lost the password to it. The email associated with the account is also deleted. Can you please help me delete that account?
This would help me in reusing the username for the current account.
Thanks and Regards

What is the account name, or what was the associated email name?

The username was "msiyer". I want to recover that name and use in the current account.
I cannot completely remember associated email. That account would have been idle all these years.
Thanks for replying.

I agree that this is a bug, but it is not specific to Reference articles. It works that way for articles, blogs and tips as well in the moderation queue.

I've also tested it in my own article and there it works...

Was your article in the moderation queue at the time?

This post in the Lounge: http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4865805/Clickable-Link.aspx[^] Has a - you guessed it - clickable link embedded in the subject.
I'm not sure this should be allowed:
1) It provides a place for spam links to be hidden
2) If you can link, then presumably you can add other HTML - which gives the malicious an opening to "destroy" the rest of the page.

well, isn't every subject a clickable link that opens the message it's associated to? I don't see any other link in that topic other than that it opens the message.
(I just noticed that it has a clickable smiley if that's what you meant: )

I have noticed that more OPs in Q&A seem to be using the "Have a Question or Comment" button rather than "Reply" when responding to comments in their questions. Which means we don't get notified when they think they are responding to our comment or question. And looking at the latest example I can sort of see why. Would it be possible to keep the former above all the existing comments (i.e. just below the question), and move the "Reply" buttons to below the comments?

Good idea to rearrange visual of the QA question page - there is a lot of confusion there...

Good idea !

No idea if this is the right forum but don't know where else to put it since the author of the article seems to be inactive since 2012.

Basically all the links in that article that lead to another codeproject article are broken.
O and by the way, love the 'controller or action not found' page

I think this is probably an OK place for such a report. I believe I have fixed all the links

Hii ,
There should be an image attchment functiloity availble while posting the question , which will make more simple to explain the things what exactly we want

In some (and extremely rare) cases that will really help, but most of the times we will have screenshots of Visual Studio along with the exception being thrown, won't we?
Whether I think I can, or think I can't, I am always bloody right!
