I think Bill meant, if CP has any intentions to compile such a book...Like form the HTML, Android and IoT contest...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Thanks, KEP, you are absolutely correct, and I am going to revise the message title to be clear I am singing the book's (well the book as example of what can be done) praises.
cheers, Bill

Oh, Hi Chris, my bad: I should have been clear that I was expressing my admiration for this effort, not "reporting" it for any reason. To my knowledge Telerik supported this effort in some ways; they're listed as a sponsor.
I've added that book to my list of recommended resources for any future QA posts in response to newcomers who are in the one-eyed-cat-looking-in-a-seafood-store state.
I listed the link to the free .pdf download of this book on the free-stuff forum here, and promptly got down-voted
cheers, Bill
p.s. I think Chris Sells is still at Telerik; I worked as a technical editorial consultant on his Win Forms (Addison-Wesley) book years ago and drove him crazy.

Ah - thanks Bill.
With regards to the downvote: A book isn't really a tool. Kinda, sorta, but not really a tool. Maybe we need a "Good Books" forum.
Chris Sells is now at Google.

I know that he and I don't see eye to eye, but is there any way to restore his account?

Sigh.
Really?
Fixed.

Today I went to Quick Answers tab, and tried to provide him with a suggestion for how he might be able to complete the project. I was not able to find any button to open the comment box. Is it a change in the website, removal of the comments for the questions?
Might be helpfull for viewing: http://s30.postimg.org/b7u7x36y9/Screenshot_58.png[^]

And I'm using Mozilla SeaMonkey 2.30 on Window 7 64bit for x86-64. Same thing. I think it happened today.
The "Reply" buttons for existing comments are still there.

Perhaps you misunderstood something. I merely referenced the Lounge post for the hamsters to look at as it was relevant to the bug you have posted here, I already had noticed your post in that thread.
Your time will come, if you let it be right.
