Hi Bruno,

I certainly never assume that anyone is not very intelligent, and thoughtful, because they have a low-rep on CodeProject ! And, I don't assume the reverse either Smile | :)

However, reputation is the one metric of possible involvement in CP, and understanding the "rules of the road, here, that we have available. There is a whole set of privileges that come with increasing rep in various categories, so there's nothing new there. While anyone can report a message/question, etc., as spam or abuse, I question the idea that someone very new to the site, with minimum involvement, should be able to participate in removing a thread on technical grounds.

in this instance I feel attacked as I'm also a low rep
I have noticed that you have been very "reactive" personally in your participation here, at one point even canceling your account: this reactivity is something you will have to work out in the privacy of your own soul, and I hope you do find a way to completely enjoy every aspect of participating in this site, without anxiety, or any sense that what other people may do/say/write here is "aimed" at you.
«I'm asked why doesn't C# implement feature X all the time. The answer's always the same: because no one ever designed, specified, implemented, tested, documented, shipped that feature. All six of those things are necessary to make a feature happen. They all cost huge amounts of time, effort and money.» Eric Lippert, Microsoft, 2009
