Thanks very much for your message. Unfortunately plagiarism is a growing problem on CodeProject. We've tried many things to tackle this issue. We've re-activated accounts of plagiarists and even worked with them to teach them what plagiarism is, and tried to work with them to get their articles in working order.
Unfortunately experience has taught us this method does not work. A recurring theme with plagiarists is that they want their articles published, regardless of the cost. Publishing an article correctly on CodeProject, that is, publishing an article that aims to teach and exhaustively explains as much as possible about a subject or particular problem and its solution, is far more important than simply getting an article published. The focus should never on being published, the focus should be on using your own words and you own knowledge to help others.
Posting a piece of plagiarized material conflicts with CodeProject's purpose, and is hurtful to a community full of authors. As such, neither your article nor your account will be restored and this will be our last communication on the matter.
Thanks,
Sean Ewington

Pity is... Not only plagiarists

Tell it to 60% or 70% of the authors that try to reinvent the wheel doing it squared

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

Thanks!
It's nice to know that there is an official policy of "go forth and multiply" as far as this is concerned.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Can not use "MySQL" tag : You can't create new tags. Please choose from existing.
I have choose it from existing. I can choose "MySQL-Connector".
thanks.

That error is pretty weird because the MySQL tag already existed. So now I edited your question[^] to add the MySQL tag, and this is even more weird: I only added one MySQL tag, but your question suddenly has two.

I just tried to emphasize something in text by wrapping it in asterisks with the intent of it looking like: blah blah blah **REALLYIMPORTANT** blah blah blah but the only way I could stop it from looking like blah blah blah REALLYIMPORTANT blah blah blah was to replace the asterisks with * 's because your "tips" page doesn't give anything about how to disable the misbegotten offspring of two elepanting sunshines that is the markdown engine or otherwise stop it from elephanting up what I was trying to post.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Uncheck the "Use Markdown formatting (Markdown formatting tips)" checkbox.
I'm rewriting the Markdown processor. The one we are using just doesn't cut it.

Judging by the number of complaints that have arisen, surely "Use Markdown formatting" should be unhecked by default. Let people opt in, rather than causing them to have to opt out.

Agreed (until I've rewritten the processor).
Change will come into effect later today.

You probably should have gone to default the markdown formatting usage to false. So people could have enabled it consciously instead of getting a surprise
