I noticed Chris' "How to use this forum" and "Posting rules for..." posts pinned to various forums and wondered why the "Spam/Abusive" button is there for them. Of course no one in their right mind will report his posts, but why not just remove those buttons?
I believe the IDs of those posts should have been "hardcoded" somewhere in order to render them as the first message in respective forums. So don't think removing the report button for them would be difficult.

I do agree with your point. I don't think any of the posts by Admin/Staff/Sitebuilder members should be "reportable" - the same goes for their member profiles.
Just my 2 cents.

I have no idea what you mean, but come to think about it, I don't think it should be possible to report Protectors either

You clearly don't go to QA often enough.

In the text-editor, when you choose text to make Bold and Italic, it would be nice if the text would remain selected after you apply bold using the B button, so that it's just one more click on the I, otherwise you'll get:
... some selected text ...
instead of:
... some selected text ...
It's usually so in text editors I guess

So I'm trying to get my newest blog on CP. Usually I just wait until it's automatically pulled to CP, but today I want it on CP right away.
So I went to my blog feeds and clicking the small icon that says "Download Now" when you hover over it.
I click it and... Nothing happens. I've clicked it a few times, but it still says the last poll was this morning (I'm not sure if that's local time or your time).
In any case I don't see my blog being pulled to CP.
Am I missing something, do I click the wrong button or am I just impatient (the first time I clicked is well over 10 minutes ago)?
Thanks!

Yeah, my blogs keep acting up!
At this point I'm almost afraid to go into bugs/sugs and start yet another topic on my blog

Can you please show me the entry you are looking at?

The blog aggregator is a lackadaisical beast. It doesn't pull the day of, it may even refuse to. It works more on an "eventually" type schedule. Also sometimes the whole thing needs a kick. We will need to see what it does for a couple of days before we determine if the boot is necessary.
Thanks,

I'm not sure if this one has come up before.
It would be helpful to be able to sort bookmarks by the date I bookmarked them.
This is because on numerous occasions I have bookmarked something while at home at the weekend and when searching at work it takes me a while to find the bookmark.
This is usually because the title of an article does not match what I am looking for - so for example I am looking for an article I bookmarked using "API" in the search but for some reason "API" does not appear in the title.
The ability to sort bookmarks by bookmarked date would allow me to quickly find what I bookmarked at the weekend.
Thanks

One option is to use the Search page and check 'My Bookmarks'. You can then filter and sort to your heart's content.

I was about to suggest an author to change the tpye of the contribution to a tip and I say saw that was participating in the IoT-contest. I have already had two people answering back that the contest entries must be articles. Is it like that by design?
If yes, it would be worth to have a try and allow tips to entry as well. If it is really good, might have a chance as well, but at least there won't be so many so short "articles" that very probably won't win, but stay as articles
Edit: Typo

Tips are fine (in theory) for the contest, but I struggle to understand how a contestant could consider a tip as a worthy entry.

Let's say it like that... they consider it worth anyways, but they post it as articles instead
I recommend you to have a look to the list of contributions in the contest, you will see it yourself.
Even there is people writing to contests closed months / over a year ago (ask @Originalgriff)
