I see yours and mine, but not his (FF here)
So I suppose a "local" problem in his user than a site / browser problem

well it's firefox, palemoon on a couple of work/client machines,
and right now opera (from another machine - my home machine - which has no problems with my other account (in palemoon))
setings->forums QA shows a signature but it never appears anywhere
(including the Click to edit signature below in the message entry/reply screen
weirdness. it's just this account.

THis may sound like a silly question, but have you set a sig at all? Because I've just gone back through your messages including samples back to your first and I saw no signature.
Check your account settings: hover over your username at the top right ot the page, and click "My Settings" from the dropdown.
Select the "Forums and QA" tab, and check the sig box in the middle:
What does it show?
Hint: WINKEY + SHIFT + S, select a region, paste into your message will add an image - but only in this forum!

I thought you could search pure win32 code without .net, mfc, stuff. But it seems to be missing and when I search I mainly find a bunch of .net stuff which I have no interest in. I want pure win32 in this case, it used to exist but now missing?
|

I'm not sure what you mean by 'pure' Win32 code, as Win32 is a platform, not a language.
I'm assuming that you mean code written in C or C++ for the Win32 platform.
To exclude terms from a search, just prepend the term with a -.
For example, to search for Win32, excluding C# and .NET, use the following query in the search box on the Search page
win32 -c# -.net
Alternately you can use the query
win32 NOT (c# OR .net)

When you press on Stats on the top left side of an article, any article, the graphs of views and downloads is not showing.

Should be working now. A small bug broke a number of UI features.

I can't set a bookmark for any article. The bookmark sign is missing.
I'm running Firefox 67.0.2

I can confirm it's missing for Chrome as well:

Thanks for posting. I was experiencing this in FF too and was directed here.

I was about to report this until I saw this, so since they are aware, I will just add my confirmation here. @chris-maunder, Let me know if you need anything to debug this.

Will look into this. Looks like a UI update may have missed something.

I'm supposedly signed in using my SSO Google account.
I see my member name etc.
However, I don't see functionality in the articles I'm reading like Bookmark the article.
I figured my account was half-signed in or something. So I logged out and attempted to sign in again and I saw this odd error:
https://i.stack.imgur.com/I1HG0.png[^]
It just sat there so I went back to CP and still don't seem to have functionality.
Maybe it's my browser state /cache or something: FireFox 67.0.2 (64-bit)
I'll restart browser and see.
EDIT
Nope, restarted browser, logged out of CP again and logged back in and got that error (shown above) again and still can't see bookmark to bookmark an article.
Obviously other functionality works --- like posting here, etc.
Thanks

Could be an ad-blocker getting in the way?

I don't run adblocker of any type explicity. Could be new functionality in FireFox since they are blocking auto-play videos. Also, I do see the CP ads at the top, bottom, etc just as I normally do.
Thanks for the idea though.

I just learned that I do not get that Google Connect error page if I sign in from CP home page.
However, I do get it if I sign in from an article page.
Here's the URL that shows up in the page when it fails. (Hopefully there is nothing in there that will expose any of my info.)
https://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/OAuthLogOn.aspx?state=2820214&code=4/aAED0PGQJ4Q8RS26CYiYz3rNAxK4L3198lt2oJ3SMLt-GpPnv9WFm129w9ZttjvFw-Nqs1f7P-4Tu4pTJ-GKg50&scope=email+profile+https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email+https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile
However, I still don't see the Add to Bookmarks link. Am I just looking in the wrong place in the article?
Also, when I attempt to do Google sign-in on IE I also see an error. Maybe it's a firewall thing??

Looks like the missing bookmark option is a bug:
