It's a fairly recent feature. Maybe a month or two old, and was never aggressively advertised; which considering that it launched without sockpuppet abuse protection is probably a good thing.

The way I see it, if there aren't enough users seeing the post to remove the spammer, the spammer isn't a big enough problem to warrant the attention of more members and and Scooby gang. My recommendation is to use the functionality to report spammers on their member page (as somebody mentioned). If the spammer problem increases, so will the community awareness of the problem, and they should vote the spammer into oblivion. In theory, it should be self-regulating.

The spammer is getting an elevated link count for his blackhat SEO even if CP users aren't seeing his message. In either case he needs stomped hard and fast.

His blackhat SEO is only a problem for CP if the number of links on CP mucks things up for users or the number of links grows so much that it messes with CP's SEO. The bar is so low on deleting these posts/users and these posts are so infrequent, it should be taken care of.

I just gave a rather low vote on an article. I types a whole story in the [My vote of x] box, only to NOT see my comment when I clicked 'vote'. Typed the whole story over again in the regular message section.
Quite an annoying bug which I have seen before...

Yeah, I added that comment manually (after I voted) because the original comment I typed with my vote did not show up.

The MyCodeProject [^]page could really do with the column being re-sized.
The right hand one is too narrow.

That entire page (and, in fact, system) is to be completely revamped.

Hi I set up a Technical Blog some time ago, imported one post.
I've since reorganised the site and want to delete the existing technical blog, and start importing posts correctly.
The Instructions in the Technical Blogs FAQ don't work for me,
specifically there is no Modify or Delete link that I can see anywhere.
Am I missing something?

F'in typical.
I looked at this for two days before posting, because I was sure I was missing something simple.
I give up and post and IMMEDIATELY discover the icon for deleting a post.
Anyhoo. That problem is solved.
Can someone tell me if deleting all the Blog Posts automatically deletes the link between CodeProject and the blog? Or is there still some link there that I need to delete/modify?
thanks.
P.s. someone should update that FAQ, it's confusing now that the links/icons have changed.

Hi Richard,
You can delete all your Blog Posts and still have the link between CodeProject and the blog. You can check that link here: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/BlogFeed.aspx[^] to make sure everything is set up correctly.
I will go through and polish and modernize all FAQs today.
Thanks,

Sean,
That link is EXACTLY what I've been looking for.
And now I see how I could have gotten there.
Thanks,

In Item column in Reputation History screen I am getting Related File <a href="http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/Dynamic_Crystal_Report.aspx">crystalreport.zip</a>[<a href="http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/Dynamic_Crystal_Report.aspx" target="_blank" title="New Window">^</a>] .
But, when i click the crystalreport.zip[^] in item column it is going to another article. Its not mine. This in my article Step by Step Creation of Crystal Report using its Features Group, Graph, Cross-Tab and Sub Report[^].
Please check what is the problem!!!

I reported an object and then realized it was a mistake. Is it possible to negate/remove a report once it's been - ummmm - reported?
If not, I recommend that this feature be added.
I further suggest that the number of reports and number of approvals be displayed when we mouse over the appropriate icons.
