But still it will reduce the article rating. If I vote 5 for that article then rating will be 4.00(His 3 + My 5 = 8/2 = 4 [I know it's a wrong calculation because I'm a bronze Author but here just put a sample calculation for explanation])

Exactly. Even if I vote whatever the current average is, It'll still affect the average down the line.

Delete the comment that explains your vote. This will delete the vote associated with it and roll back the calculations.

Can't. And don't want to.

What if you could delete the message (which would presumably delete the vote), then repost the message as a normal message rather than a "my vote of 1" message? I guess you can't, but if you could, would that be acceptable?

If somebody's replied to his message, he can't delete it.

In any page ,After I clicked the search button which is in the same line with "FQA",no matter what results my search matched, the pop up menus will be covered by the search input box.In the meantime, If I want to switch any menu item below the input box ,I can't.

Thanks Hans
This has been in the works (and to an extent, working) for a while. Nice to see the extra exposure so we can compliement the MSDN content.

Do you really compliment the MSDN content? Does it say "Hey MSDN, great job there, you're looking great"? I would have thought you complemented the content.

This[^] article's author profile says he has no articles and one message. He's got more than that in the article forum alone...

I don't think that is the real Harold; try clicking on his name at the top of the article.

His account was deleted? When did that happen?
Anyway the link at the bottom goes elsewhere, so it must be a bug.

No idea, ask Chris.

No, they are different accounts, look at the link destinations. The original Harold was member number 4475648, the new one is 7650979.
Although, it does seem strange that the top link is by Member Id and the bottom one by "quick name".
[edit]I just checked on of my articles and it's the same there.[/edit]

I may be wrong (not completely awake yet...) but isn't this[^] the real author? The older account has all the comments in the forum.

The fix is decided upon but not implemented yet
