Thanks for clearing that to me. I almost created an account there.
I think looking at http://staging.codeproject.com/[^] started this confusion in my head. as this page looks exactly same as the codeproject even with the same live data.
+5 for clearing my head. (confusion wise )

It's a developers' forum, and there are protocols to be followed; you are fairly new here so need a bit of guidance. Read How to ask a Question[^] for guidelines, but also be prepared to accept what other people suggest. Also when someone asks for further information then try to provide what is asked for.

Thanks for the link to that article. The comments section really made me laugh. You publish an article on how to use the Forums correctly and everybody asks there questions there instead of the Forums. Pure Gold.

I used to ask people if they'd actually read the article. As I got more experienced, I stopped bothering.

You now need to write an article on how to correctly post comments to an article. I look forward to the results.

Thanks for the link, I had forgotten about that one.

The points column in the reputation page needs to be increased for negative votes.

Not a size issue, a wrap issue (well, technically size, but wrapping is an easier candidate to fix)
Fixed in next rev.

I made a blunder and voted 5 for a spam message in the Collaboration/Beta Testing forum. Is there no way to retract the vote, or at least recast my vote as a 1 ?

Hi
I noticed some small bugs regarding the online wizard.
I start writning an article and dont finish it, and save the draft. When I open the draft I sometimes get unexpected return line and the text is quite messy.
Another thing I noticed is when I try to update my article, I cant get the old zip file to follow, so I have to make another revision were the file is included.
There is also some wierd things happening when I try to past in some formatted code, as it sometimes get a return line between all the lines of code. The only way I found to fix it was to write some text like blhblhblhb and set the cursor in the middel so the text would look like blhb <my code=""> lhblhb. Then the formattiong works as expected.
And please can I get an english spell check in it, that would make it awsome.
Otherwise, Im extremly happy about the online wizard as Im not too found of HTML coding. PS, could I expect an update in the wizard any time soon?
Cheers
Kenneth

Can you please send me a link to an article in which you are seeing problems?
Are you pasting HTML (or text?) into the online editor, or typing directly?
Kenneth Haugland wrote: I cant get the old zip file to follow,
I'm not sure what you mean by this. Do you mean that start working on an article, upload a zip, then save, and then when you re-edit the article the zip has disappeared?

Hi
Quote: Can you please send me a link to an article in which you are seeing problems?
I have had all the problems described in Create a Voronoi diagram 1 of 2[^], but there are several revisions so I dont know exactly which one it applies to.
Quote: Are you pasting HTML (or text?) into the online editor, or typing directly?
Im usually typing directly into the editor, or I paste in the contents from Notepad.
Quote: I'm not sure what you mean by this. Do you mean that start working on an article, upload a zip, then save, and then when you re-edit the article the zip has disappeared?
Yes you are correct, except the article is published and Im writing a revision(cant remember but I think it happens when I replaced the zip file with a new one). The thing is that I dont usually think about adding the zip file into the document wizard (after I had uploaded the document that is), as it normally appears as a download at the top without me doing anything. (Or perhaps it is fixed by the editors afterwords?)

The live version of this article seems OK. If you are currently working on a saved draft me editing it without the updated article handy might muck it up. It's not a bad idea to keep a saved copy of your changes in Notepad.
Adding zip files is a bit different than before. You might want to delete your older uploaded files (unless you want to keep them), then hit the "Add selected zip files to article" shown here:
Code Project Article FAQ[^]
once all your new zip files are uploaded.
Of course if you run into any problems along the way please email me the update and I'll be happy to help.
Thanks,

Hi there!
I have a suggestion. Some authors (I hope I am not the only one! ) have the practice of inserting a table of contents in the beginning of an article, to ease navigation. Usually, creating such a table relies on marking section headers as anchors.
However, whenever we mark a header with a named anchor, the title turns to blue instead of yellow. It also becomes underlined on mouse hover. Wouldn't it be better if the anchors CSS class didn't introduced visual changes? I am only asking because the article page seems odd with blue titles, not matching against the rest of the site...
All the best for everyone!
