I was asking what is it for this strage 'frame strategy' of putting all news inside of code project-like page. Oh I understand that you like it (why?).
I can understand you are putting foreign news in that frame but what for you are using this for Discussions or Lounge from you own page?

Hi,
When I read a question or an answer on the Q&A page, then there's a button that allows me to delete questions and answers.
But I don't have a platinum reputation, and the Member Reputation System Page AND the Quick Answers FAQ told me that I need to have a platinum reputation.
But I'm just a gold organiser.
Is it a bug, or need both articles to update?

If I look at the news posts in the news forum there's a link and the ^ link also, so I can keep CP open and read the article in a separate tab / window, which is great since it's not halkf hidden in a frame, but I can't do that from the news links on the home page (yes, I can right click of course).
How about adding the usual ^ link to the home page news posts?

With Win8 now out, I find I am using this as my primary OS (and IE10 as my main browser).
I like how in MSDN I can click "Log In" and it automatically picks up my Microsoft ID and logs me in automatically. Any chance we can link our existing accounts here to our MS ID and have this functionality?

I would navigate the posts via the Ctrl and Arrow keys.
This is no longer working.
Also every time I click on a post the page updates rather than just opens the next post.
It makes it slower, more unresponsive, annoying and harder to use.
Was this deliberate?

This has happened to me periodically for a while, generally it is the first post I click on that does this if it does happen.
Seems that slow general loading times can cause it to happen, if I click on another post before everything has fully loaded or something.
Been better recently though.

1) Check the 'Layout' option of the forum. If 'No javascript' is selected, it is intended to work that way. More likely.
2) Slow internet speed? Let the page load fully. When you click a message while the page is loading, it will refresh the page in any browser.
3) Check the browser setting if it is blocking javascript to run. Less likely as you use the site regularly.

I was trying to demonstrate that when we edit a post the title gets appended with [modified], and a timestamp is added to the message. However, I have edited this message[^] four times and the change has not been done. Is it a simple timing issue?

I'm pretty sure (but I could be well and truly wrong) that you only get the [modified] tag if the message has been replied to.
If you get an email telling you that you can catch Swine Flu from tinned pork then just delete it. It's Spam.

the 'modified' tag only appears if you modify a message at least 5 mins after it was posted.

In the mobile development section of the articles area, I see Windows Phone 7 but not Windows Phone 8. I figure that this should be added soon. Thanks!

This is something I started to notice yesterday. On the front page of the site, when I click refresh, click the logo or type "codeproject.com" into the address bar it does not seem to update the page. The latest content in each section ("Latest Articles" and "Our Community", for example) show new links but they suddenly disappear (not even a second later) and the content that I used to see on the page shows back up. I have to close the tab, open a new one and then navigate back to CP. I've only used Chrome and I haven't had much time to check it in other browsers yet. Anyone else been seeing this?

The comments in Q&A have quite funny looking icons. The icons under the questions and also the answers look fine to me.
IE 8, FF 16 and Chrome both show this behaviour.
Defective Icons.
Cheers!

That's some nice pixelation. I've tried on all major browsers and I can't replicate the issue. Which OS are you on? It looks like it may be (wild guess) a video driver issue, since those icons are meant to have reduced opacity when you aren't hovering over them, and maybe that's causing the display issues.
cheers,
