Is there a discussion group for Tortoise SVN ?
I searched here and found a few threads with the acronym mentioned, but not a specific group focused on it.
I'm receiving an error message from SVN; Can't figure it out.

Your message, instead of the OP's post, shows 'Answered' Icon! Mistake or Bug?

can anybody tell me why it was deleted ? was there something wrong in it?

You posted the same question again?
Then it has been deleted after some users reported it as 'Repost'.
|
|
|
|
|
No, I did not repost, as it was deleted few days back, I posted it again now.

|
|
|

Then the only one who can answer you why is the one that deleted your question.
But there may be no specific reason when your question was deleted accidentally (some users here have the power to do so and hitting the delete button inadvertently may happen).
You already posted the question again which is the best you can do in such cases. In fact you already got an answer to the new question while the old one was unanswered (as far as I know, I can't access the old one).

Not sure how it is happening, but this[^] post seems to have a tool tip type window associated with it. When I move my mouse over the post, at the same time that the text is underscored as a link, a small tool tip type window appears with the text "Unable to replicate" contained in the window. It also happens with the mouse over the poster's name. Not sure if the text is referring to a bug or maybe if a neutered hamster is crying out.

That's because I've marked it "Unable to replicate" (not to be confused with "I have a headache tonight"). See the icon at the left of the subject line?

Is it just Firefox, or is it an issue with the site?
I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.

I was of the opinion that the Blog entry visible on my profile page is for posting just about anything. I posted a message on that last week and it was actually not a spam. but still it was reported as spam by someone.
I have posted the message again. Could someone please let me know if it is Spam by any definition. It is just a list of my articles: http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4430612/Articles-selected-as-Article-of-the-Day-on-Microso.aspx[^]

I don't think it is spam.
I wonder if the reporter was over-caffeinated?

Thank you.

That is scary, Someday, perhaps, such "over-caffeinated" guys can report me as spammer and get my account blocked too.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream. Discover.

It's either that or under-caffeinated! Not sure which one is worse.
Although, was it just one report that removed the message?
