I'd hoped that simply moving your mouse over each row and having the buttons "pop" out would highlight the reply functionality more than simply having the icons fully exposed. I prefer it as it is.

I think Sushil Mate has a point here.
Chris Maunder wrote: having the buttons "pop" out would highlight the reply functionality
In the present case, it is the whole comment block that gets highlighted when hovered, not only the reply
icon. This behavior is somehow inconsistent with the rest of the design, in which I always get a rectangular outline (or even a complete button appearing) on the clickable zone only, what clearly makes clickable zones stand out.
Propositions:
1. Do not highlight the whole line, but only the "reply" button, as in a forum message highlighting. So by hovering the comment, the "reply" icon background will also get dark red (or crimson or whatever the color is named, I am no woman).
or
2. Highlight the whole line AND get the icon background dark red.
or
3. Make the whole line clickable, and a click would fire up a reply. (I reckon this could be an annoying behaviour on touchscreens, as you could not touch a comment to scroll down/up).
I know that you wrote that you prefer the current behaviour, I still try my luck.

While he did post a bad joke (I must say that), I don't think he should be banned from this forum for that one bad joke.

A while back, I posted a bug, "Tips Categorized Incorrectly". I have since discovered that the page in question generates different HTML depending on whether or not I am logged in.
If I am logged in, I don't get this bit of HTML:
<div id="ctl00_MC_TR_ctl05_CAR_SectionDiv">
<h3>Programming Tips</h3>
</div>
<div id="ctl00_MC_TR_ctl05_CAR_SubsectionDiv">
<p><a id="ctl00_MC_TR_ctl05_CAR_SubsectionLink" href="/KB/tips/">General</a></p>
<div style="border-bottom:solid 1px #CCCCCC;margin-left:40px;"></div>
</div>
I think there was another header that also didn't get generated, but you get the idea.

I went to my Reputation History, and I saw that at least 15 of my answers were bookmarked (all posted in December). I've no idea why, because these answers aren't related with each other. I find that this looks strange and suspicious.
I'm posting this because I don't want to be considered as a sock-puppeteer.

Isn't that exactly what you'd say if you were a sock-puppeteer?

If I really was a sock-puppeteer then I wouldn't post this thread and would I bookmark my answers from August 2012.

I would have assumed CP has installed an automatic Bookmark-As-Fast-As-You-Can identifier, after all these things are standard and fairly simple to implement...

Hi ProgramFox,
Why not assume that someone(s) finds your answers valuable ?

A couple of hours ago, someone posted a question in which he provided a secret Twitter key. Manfred R. Bihy[^] suggested to delete his question, because even if the OP would edit his question and remove the key, the first version would still be visible. And I said that it's also possible to see deleted questions if you know the question ID (by going to the ListVersion.aspx?aid=<questionID> page and choosing the latest version). Manfred replied here[^] that he thinks deleted questions shouldn't be visible. But I use this "feature" when I report abuse if the abusive question is already deleted, to prove that it's really abuse.
So I've this suggestion: the question shouldn't be accessible if the OP deleted it, but still accessible if the question is closed after 3 reports (or perhaps when it's deleted by a Protector/Admin).
What do you think?

Have you done all the usual (checked spam filters, checked there's no kinks in your ethernet cable, checked your computer's turned on?) I've checked your account and it all seems fine.

I'm receiving e-mails from elsewhere, just not CP. I've checked the settings and nowt is changed, all is correct.
There are no spam messages from you, or anyone else for that matter.
I even checked my hotmail account, with my olde e-mail, and that's fine with a couple of e-mails in today I know where forwarded.
I am confused.

I think I found it.
Your message had "E-mail me if someone replies to this message" unchecked. I've checked it. Let me know if this comes through via email.

How the elephant did that change?
I've always left that checked and don't recall unchecking it. I didn't post anything around 10:30 last night did I saying someone was now 'my best mate'?
Anyway, thank yee sire but you'll still lose The Ashes.

Too late. He's sold his place up the road from me in Melbourne (OK, 10 mins away, but I did bump into him a couple of times at our local cafe) and he's packed his mittens and is on your side of the pond already.
