Can we connect two databases together suing one object/connection in Python?

I am making a connection between 2 databases but i want to connect 2 databases together using single object/connection. So is it possible to do so?

What I have tried:

I have tried using two parameters db1 and db2 but i am unable to connection 2 databases together.

I do so on a consistent basis.
Are they on the same instance of the MySQL server? Are all the permission in place?
You may need to link the servers.
