So what is the problem?
Are you getting an error or is the grid not refreshing when the timer tick event occurs?
Update your question with what problems you are having, but based on the code above you are querying the tempdb - refer connection string Initial Catalog value & you are querying the Products table based on your sql command - not sure how these are messages

Hello, Notify your grid via raising an event when you successfully insert a new record in products table, and load the table data in the event handler. Refer the below articles about events
