Yup, so i've just discovered my new programming class is in java and even worse all other students are 4 months ahead of me. Coming from a pure c# background you can imagine how lost I am plus my final exams are in september. I would be indebted to anyone kind enough to point me out a good site where I can learn all current java technologies in a short time (really short, as in super fast). I need to know stuff like namespaces,similarities and differences with c# plus its advantages and disadvantages and all other java stuff.

I have to say that you've made my day(actually night coz its almost midnight here). I've already tried google but how am I to know the best java primer when I hardly know java?

yeah, thats why I chose It as the solution. No offence but It wouldn't hurt to pass such useful links coz you might just save someone hours of googling.
The best one I know is here[^]. You can do the basic tutorials quite quickly, and your C# knowledge will certainly come in handy as there is a lot of commonality.
