Sql agent services in SQL server 2008 r2

Dear Friends,

I want to learn sql server Angent Services. I have installed sql server 2008 r2 Express edition in my system.. The sql server agent is not displaying. how can install that services in this edition..

Do you see SQL Server Agent in services ? Are you be able to enable it?

It showing in config manager but I can't enable it.. "The Request failed or the service didn't respond in a timely fashion. consult the event log or other applicable error logs for details" message showing When i start the agent services in config mgr.

The SQL Server Agent functionnality (which is used to schedule jobs on the SQL instance) is not available under Express editions. More exactly, the SQL Server Agent service is installed, but you cannot start it. This is by design, and the only way for you to start using it is to install a non-express version of SQL Server.
