How do i print rdlc/pdf directly to default printer in mvc

Hi,
I have a customer receipt summary form where there is a print button. i want to print the receipt directly to the default client printer. I dont want to show the report preview/ pop up window.
I'm using MVC3 with razor view.

Thanks in advance.

What I have tried:

i tried to populate rdlc in iframe & tried to print that. but not possible.

First get pdf version of the content and give a link to print from the pdf

I can get PDF from rdlc. but to print it to default printer automatically

Solution 1

You can't force the client to print a document without asking. Printing costs money, can you imagine how annoying it would be if every site you visited forced adverts\coupons etc to your printer?

This is not for all site. Its for a webApp.
