My name is Shailesh Pant. I am an engineering student, 3rd year, information tech. I have a taken a project in face recognition system. I have to build it from scratch. I have basic knowledge of C and C++. Please guide me through this project.

What do you mean by "guide me through this project"? I think at first you should ask your lecturer since your project task probably has something to do with the topics you are studying? Famous libraries for image processing / analysis with C++ are ITK / VTK.

thanks for the libraries. and we don't have any topic related to the image processing in our syllabus. this project we are developing is not for my college but for our interest.

hi,
i am shravan i am working on face detection and recognition using MFC VC++.
i added the code for camera on to the dialog, now i need to detect the face and later recognize the face.
can anyone help to detection of face.
