How Do I Create A Text Editor Using Ncurses Library

Hello,

I need to create a simple text editor that can open, edit and save pcode files.
I have to use the curses library for this. Could you please give me a snippet of this program that can at least open and save the file? Thank you very much.

SA, that's why I asked for a snippet and not the entire code. Some people need to get off their high horse and understand that some people have a hard time at the beginning, that's why they seek the help of their community so that they can take the knowledge and stand on their feet. Thanks.

This is not a suitable attitude. Why do you think that "having hard time" along should give you want you want? Those people "on high horse", even if they exist, certainly did all their work by themselves, even if for you it might be hard to believe. Most experts know when to help and when not. We want to help people who really can use help, and not wasting time

But again, I explained that this is not a code-writing service. That includes snippets. We do write snippets, but not on the order, only when it helps to formulate the answer to a question.

sandy is opensource editor so maybe its code can show you how they made it. maybe not exactly what you were looking for but can certainly give some guidance.
