sql server database backup taking more time . . . . . . ..

Dear All,

Yesterday I ran two backups for two databases (i.e before 15 hours), now anly i have checked the status but it's still going on, that too backups are completed only 20% and 30%.

Really I have surprise, why it's taking that nuch of more time.

Could you please tel me why it's happening like this.

Database Sizes (190 GB, 300 GB).

Is there someone connected to the database locking some key part?

No Agarn, nobody using that server. I am only the person using that server.
You know one thing still that backup is going on .... If a disturb that don't know what will happen, thats why i didn't disturb that backup activity.

One backup is completed 70%.
Another backup is completed 50%.

Still both are running.

Today I found one thing here, network utilization 0 Mbps and 0% Network Utilization.
I am taking backup into local machine only even network is required????
