Read the documentation for your router

Change the WiFi password every hour. ;>)

Probably Solution 1 gives you the solution, I'm not sure, but I would say that it does not look socially acceptable to me.
You see, many, many organizations these days provide unlimited WiFi with Internet access in the zone accessible by their patrons; they don't even care if someone is seating outside their building using Internet through them. This (not little, but big and generous!) courtesy became a common place.

Now, if you introduce some limitations for your customers, it may badly hurt your business reputation, compared to the case when you don't provide any WiFi service.

1 solution

A SOHO router won't be able to provide such feature. You could however use/create a software router.
Let's suppose, you want this on Windows... this is one: http://virtualrouter.codeplex.com/[^] is open souce. It has no time limit either, but as you have the source, you can add this feature.
But you could check a list like this: http://alternativeto.net/software/virtual-access-point/[^] (or seach for it on google).

This is an other approach, which is a little bit more compex, but much better: http://www.chillispot.org/features.html[^]
