clsCustomer is going to be some custom class that has been developed by someone

So really, it's impossible for us to tell you what this is, it's not a standard '.Net' method. You need to either provide the source code for clsCustomer or at least put the clsCustomer_Actions in context, how is it being used \ referenced?

Sounds to me this is a subject belonging to ASP.NET MVC 2[^]. There is a subchapter dealing with Controllers and Action Methods in ASP.NET MVC Applications[^] that might be of interest to you.
