Hi guys I just want to know if its possible to read the power supply serial and info of a desktop and the battery of a notebook/laptop through a vb.net or c# application similar to using the ManagementObjectSearcher to read motherboard serial

The purpose of the software is for a QC technician to retrieve all serial numbers from the machine that he/she is working on without having to strip the whole machine.

any re-direction or advice would be greatly appreciated.

No.

Most PSU's do not have an electrically readable serial number, and you can't normally access a lappie battery info either.
