Ajax is not working in form Submit by using MVC 4 in ASP.NET ?

Please tell me solution, it is very serious error ?

I have found that while having ajax call on form submit, at that time if i put some msg on span control than it does not imediatly response with msg. It does only after completion of form submit event or by interupting the call thorugh confirm or alert box..
