i have iframe in my vb.net application whose src changes dynamically ..now when i open my application in two tabs or windows and logout one of them ...the other doesnot logout but becomes inactive??

Your question is not clear. Are you connected to a database? Are the two windows on the same form?
From what I can tell if you "logout" or disconnect from the datbase this may render you other connection/window inactive.

My question is that whenever i login to my application and copy the url to another tab so that in both tabs same page is displayed but whenever i logout from one of the tabs ..the other tab becomes inactive but doesnot logout?I have tried all the ways ...I have removed all session .set src of iframe to index page but it doesnot work ..now please help me??
