When I update Windows through Windows Update, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (RTM) stops working

In my windows server, after windows updates, the SQL server automatically stopped. windows updates is happening daily, but monthly once or twice it is affecting SQL Server also. I am using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (RTM) version . What will be the issue
