gz compression from server response

i get xml response from server and i save it in xml ,but the speed of request and response is slow , so i want to use gz compression to download response from server

how to do that in asp.net ..

pls advice

Your question is not clear - of course there are ways of compressing xml data, however what I show you is how to tell IIS to compress response it sends to client...

but i dont have server access (on live server)..so how to config and check in gzip is on IIS..

If you can't access the server you can't tell him to compress it's response - sorry...
