I had encountered this problem when vb2010 programs were installed on windows 7, by downloading access db engine and changing target to x86
But these are not working for Windows 8
Can any one help to solve this issue

What does "not working" mean?

when the program I developed (in VB 2010 using Access as database), is installed in client's computer Windows 8 / Office 2010, she gets error message
ACE OLEDB 12.0 not registered on local machine
So the program cannot be run
By the way, I have built program for platform x86 and I asked my client to download and install Access DB Engine
But this did not help

OK, so you know the answer. The client must download the ACE engine and install it. You should really package this up with your code and have it all as part of the installer so the client gets it installed automatically.
