When i write

xxxx

It is converting to

?v=0018W6fM7s3YBtqhmywWqgwMm1s_fjMw4JvYvImaOWR149CJW-v9LXyJUKF6Ipb3uowqsyW68IQ9e9y4mj7jC4lmsbGBlEmJIq-cQeeHfw0E1BCuITNorJE_K69

and passing to another site

What kind of query string is this. is it is possible to understand the type of encription mechanism used here.

The question is: why? :-)

In my application i have to implement it when we write a plain text. It is changing to a very longer set of characters like i have added above. So i can't predict what is the encription technique and what is the key used for encription. When we write xx or anything it will change to a longer string.

Its just not possible, you can change it to a longer string if you want, but it will be junk to the other side unless you know exactly how to encrypt it. The other side needs to know how to go from the longer string back to the shorter one, and in order to do that both sides must agree on how to encrypt (or encode) the data.

No detail, no answer. You did not even explain what is that query string. Is it a Web site or something? Where did you get it, what information do you have, and so on.

1 solution

Without seeing or knowing the underlying encryption type, its very difficult to determine from a query string what the encryption is. It looks like it encrypts it then changes it over to some text base that can be sent plain text.

With what you provided (or what you can see) I would say that no, it will not be able to determine the type of encryption.
