How to check control data is changed

i enter data in control after that data getting insereted in database. if i am modify the data in control than record needs to be updated in database. but data is not getting updated it getting inserted in database. I want to check if control data is modify after saved data than it will be updated. In my page i have 27 controls.

Are you talking about something like,textbox have name 'Rohan',when you change it to Manohar,it should be entered/updated into database?

when data modification is finished, then insert or update.
