mail sending automatically every monthly asp.net

i have one textbox and CalendarExtender2.and one is DropDownList .in the dropdownlist text have 1)Monthly2)quartly

when i selecting monthly form dropdownlist and selecting date form calendarExender then all next months wise email send reports.

so i dont how to check the selected date next months for sending email.

plz tell me how to do??

i have one table tblreport in that i m storing period and period date .
period = monthly/Quarterly/Annually
and period date = date which user selected
so i have to send monthly mail to client.
checking period date.how to do
