Hi frnds,

i have one table with more lacks record. i want to index the table for find particular record. Please tel me with example.

and do u knw abt Filtered Index(new one in sql server 2008)? if u knw please explain me!!!!!

Use the link, index the column that contains what you want to find.

Use those columns in index which are used in where clause or joinning conditions.....
Filtered index is like index with where clause....its very use full when u dont want somethign to be index like null values....this will make index faster....
