Is it possible to edit each cell of a grid view directly

Hi,

I want to show the excel data in a Grid view control.So the data will be adding to the grid view control dyanamically.But I am not able to edit each cells of a grid.How can I edit each cell of a grid view.Please help me.

What you want to do exactly? You want to convert Excel Sheet to Gridview?

Yes I want to convert excel data into Grid view.That is working fine now.But after that I am not able to edit each cell of that grid directly.My purpose is to edit each cell of that grid and finally it should reflect in excel back.

I would recommend using a 3rd party control. Some can do that natively.

A 3rd party control is a control that someone else made. There are lots of companies that make grids that have in-cell editing. For example, I have used intersoft's webgrid for that. intersoftpt.com.

Auto-update GridView row and place the next row in Edit mode by pressing Tab[^]
