How to create intellisense...?

Hi guys,
I want to create my own intellisense feature in notepad. (i.e.) When i type letter 'A',
it should display in drop down box the words starting from 'A'. I would like to create a
notepad with this feature installed in it using java or any other programming language.
Help to finish it out guys...!

Too long way: Notepad++ written in C++, OP wants Java
