HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found

A excel based report has been created using asp.net, this runs properly on the local machine
but gives the message "HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found." when deploed on IIS 6.0
can someone provide a solution for any configuration that has to be done

Solution 1

First of all check whether the path of the file set in IIS is correct or not.

If that is fine go for - "HTTP Error 404 - File or Directory not found" error message when you request dynamic content with IIS 6.0[^].

This might help you.

I guess there is no such commands.
So, try to do as suggested in the link.
