How to refresh or reload page in backbone

can you please tell me how to refresh page/reload in backbone .?

other that
window.location.reload();;
it reload the page
it create problem in other functionality.can you please tell me the different way?

Can you please explain what do you mean by backbone??
And can you be specific about the problem that you face in window.loction.relaod();
