Hi,

I am new to Silverlight and i want to use css in XAML Pages.

Silverlight and CSS are not really meant to be used together.

Silverlight provides powerful design features like templates and styles which not only provide good UI design, but also event management via state machines.

You definitely cannot directly use CSS in a XAML page.

Kasson, I just tool a look at the part of Silverlight tutorial you reference, so I can see it explains WPF style elements as only conceptually similar to CSS. As to the blog, it ultimately provides arguments if favor of WPF Control templates as having more expressive power and consistency.

Does this mean the idea of your answer about CSS is to discourage its use in Silverlight (or you just meant to give a different reference)?
