You could fork this[^] and extend it to include thesaurus, the guts of it must already be there...

Or perhaps this? An English Thesaurus for Windows Forms Applications[^]

Try this https://www.chuongduong.net/thinkmap/index.html, it is my opensource project, it is simple and easy to use, still need some improve but I think is will help you alot.
It wrote by javascript and can run without any extra library.
