STAKE HOLDERS
hey m working on a college project with two group members..its a dummy project
we are required to submit the list of stake holders
i have included the following stake holders
1.project leader
2.project team members
3.project testers (which would be again both of us)

is that information sufficient or i cud add something to it??

Your question isn't clear enough. BTW, the client would be a stake holder too.

The stakeholders of a project are generally the people that are either going to pay for it, going to use it, or going to benefit from its creation. Generally this would not include the actual project delivery team, at least in my experience.

For example, you would have a Project Sponsor - the person who is responsible for delivering the project from the business' side, i.e. not on the actual team. Senior Management may also be stakeholders, as well as senior (or vocal) members of the user community.

thanks a lot
but then what should i include?? I mean its a dummy project and all the work we are doing without any sponsorer ;and no actual implementation is going to take place of this software project

I would suggest that rather than trying to teach you something about the real world, your college is following some prescription in a book. In which case rather than learning something useful, they most likely want you to regurgetate something you were supposed to have read. At least that is my experience of college.

That said - the "list" they are expecting is probably in the last chapter of whatever text book you are in the middle of working through. I would re-read that as a first step.
