hi if i logged in to ftp i cant see public_html

please help me......

The only appropriate address for this question should be your Web hosting provider, period. There are many different hosting environments, and the root of your site does not have to be "public_html".

(I am pretty much sure that you don't host the site by yourself on your computer, otherwise you would know where your files are and would not use FTP.)

It's "httpdocs".

By the way, are you sure your hosting supports ASP.NET? Does their service explicitly promise that? :-)

This structure is very typical for Linux-based hosting, LAMP or something. Even though it can host "natural" Microsoft ASP.NET or even Apache with mod_mono module (to use Mono, a multi-platform CLR implementation), this is not typical.

if i login using my ftp host username and password
the folders i see is
1.anon_ftp
2.cgi-bin
3.error_docs
4.httpdocs
5.httpsdocs
6.private
7.statistics
8.subdomains
9.vault_scripts
10.webusers
and a file called security
