PLease suggest Best web camera for my Project

Hello, I am a student and i am starting a small project on moving the mouse cursor through the hand gestures. (Color extraction technique)
I will be using Visual studio 2010 along with Aforge.Net .
I want suggestions on which webcam to use so i dont get delays as i have heard from my seniors that a good webcam can decrease the delay time.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to use a Kinect and the associated libraries? The skeletal support and tracking is very good and very fast. Why re-invent all of the image processing work?

How about the one installed in your laptop, if you can get one? No hassles with wires, right position. And low quality is only a benefit — you immediately prove that software you develop works with a low-quality camera. :-)
