We don't do homework here... it is set to allow you to learn.

See it in this way: now you have somebody that is telling you how to make things and then that person will ask you to solve problems like the ones the professor will have explained you how to solve in one exam.

When you will work you will have problems that nobody will have explained you how to solve them...

So better do it well now, learn as much as possible and then you will probably suffer a little less when you will be working on that field.
